Information Communication Technology (ICT), while a fundamental element, in and of itself, is only part of the solution needed to support the online delivery of content and the eventual digital transformation of the education system for Caribbean students. This is the main take-away from the Caribbean Telecommunications Union’s ICT in Education-A Caribbean Forum.

17TH CARIBBEAN INTERNET GOVERNANCE FORUM DAY 2 IN REVIEW

The second and final day of the 17th Caribbean Internet Governance Forum hosted by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) addressed fundamental factors in the regional Internet Governance community’s collective response to the COVID-19 pandemic. After an energetic and informative first day, the second day continued in similar vein.

17TH CARIBBEAN INTERNET GOVERNANCE FORUM DAY 1 IN REVIEW

For the second consecutive year, this year’s forum is being held virtually, providing attendees with an invaluable opportunity to participate in a more accessible way in the formulation of Caribbean Internet governance policy. The CIGF is an informal, inclusive and non-hierarchical space where Caribbean voices are welcomed to come together in order to identify opportunities for regionally harmonised approaches to Internet governance policies, standards and implementation actions for a Single ICT Space.

CTU TO DISCUSS INTERNET GOVERNANCE PRIORITIES IN THE POST COVID-19 ERA
