Spectrum Management Task Force
The Caribbean Spectrum Management Task Force is a multi-stakeholder technical group convened by the CTU to inform the development of appropriate regionally harmonized policies for the planning and management of the radio-communication spectrum used for all wireless communications. The Task Force assists with the development and implementation of the spectrum management plans and initiatives undertaken by the Caribbean Telecommunications Union. The Task Force comprises representatives of the following indicative mix of stakeholders from CTU Member States or other Caribbean States/Territories recommended by the CTU Secretariat:
- Policy Makers and Regulators from member countries;
- Operators;
- CTU Secretariat – Secretary;
- Academia; and
- Technology Developers.
The work of the Task Force is overseen by the Spectrum Management Steering Committee, a small team of senior Government policy-makers drawn from CTU Member States. Additional information on the Task Force is available in the “Terms of Reference“ document.
