This was among the main message shared at a webinar held on Monday 31st January 2022 and hosted by the Government of Barbados and the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU), of which Barbados is one of 20 Member States.

Driven by the serious ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the Education system, the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) will host ICT in Education – A Caribbean Forum via an interactive, online event hosting platform on 26th and 27th January 2022. The CTU is partnering with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for this important event.
Secretary-General Taylor briefed Minister Bacchus and his team on the ways in which the CTU could assist Trinidad and Tobago advance its plans to become a Digital Nation; an objective that is closely aligned to the CTU’s 21st Century Government initiative.
