Secretary-General Rodney Taylor presented at the 33rd Inter-Sessional Meeting of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize, on 02 March 2022, on the Declaration of St George’s on the Reduction of Roaming Charges.
SG Taylor responded to questions from Heads of Government on the Declaration, its implications and the next steps. Next steps include a focus on the establishment of a single regulatory framework for ICTs within CARICOM.
He also took the opportunity to meet Heads of Delegation in Belize on ICT related matters such as regional financing for ICT projects and the CTU’s support for national digital transformation projects.
