TheCaribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) convened the first Caribbean ICT Collaboration forum in February2016 in Trinidad and Tobago in order to fosterthe practice of collaborationfor advancing ICT-enabled development.TheForum promoted the sharing ofinformation in order to avoid duplication of effortsand encouraged the pooling ofhuman and financial resources in advancing the ICT agenda both nationally and regionally. The Forum also sought to develop mechanisms that would support collaboration amongst different organisations in the planning and execution of Caribbean ICT projects. This 4thCollaborationForum will continue the process of developing collaborative working relationships among Caribbeangovernments, ICT organisations andother stakeholders to addressthe issue of digital transformation in the region.The Forum will seek to establish a high-level approach for transforming the Caribbean.
