Dear Stakeholder,

On behalf of Secretary-General Rodney Taylor, the Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) Secretariat is pleased to announce the hosting of the 2nd International ICT Forecast and Industry Watch Meeting on 31st March 2026. This is the 2nd in a series of preparatory meetings to be held quarterly in 2026. 

The meeting will apprise stakeholders of the upcoming series of regional and international meetings taking place in the 2nd quarter of 2026. The Secretariat has invited partner organisations to present a brief on each meeting to demonstrate the importance of Caribbean representation at all major decision-making events for the region.

Alejandro Jordán

Alejandro Jordán holds a Law degree from Complutense University of Madrid (1995), a Certificate in Business Administration from Harvard University (1999), and other diplomas and business programs from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid (2011) and Boston University (2017) among others. Since 2016, Alejandro has worked with HISPASAT designing and implementing connectivity projects in Latin America, and since 2022, as HISPASAT’s Business Development Director for the public sector in Latin America, he has focused his activities on helping Latin American governments reduce the digital gap in rural areas through turnkey satellite connectivity projects. He develops opportunities within governments for HISPASAT´s turnkey solutions, such as the telemedicine and tele-education turnkey solutions, and leads the CONDOSAT project. The CONDOSAT implies the launching and operation of a new shared High Throughput sovereign Satellite (HTS) among different governments of LATAM.
