CTU ICT Week 2025 – Jamaica

September 29, 2025 - October 3, 2025
Venue: The Jamaica Pegasus

The Caribbean Telecommunications Union (CTU) is pleased to announce the upcoming CTU ICT Week 2025, set to take place in collaboration with the Government of Jamaica from Monday 29th September to Friday 4th October 2025 at the Jamaica Pegasus, Kingston, Jamaica. This prestigious event will be held under the distinguished patronage of the Honourable Minister of Science, Energy and Technology, Government of Jamaica.

The theme for this year’s event, “Driving Changes, Connecting Futures”, aims to foster dialogue on how regional governments can collectively harness digital platforms to enhance social and economic development across the Caribbean, while strengthening the region’s resilience to emerging challenges.

A highlight of the event will be the convening of the Ministers responsible for Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) during the statutory meetings that guide the CTU’s work. Among these sessions will be the 23rd Strategic ICT Ministerial Seminar, where ministers will deliberate on key ICT issues and formulate strategies for the region’s future. International experts will also provide valuable insights on pressing topics such as the expansion of 5G networks, artificial intelligence, digital inclusion, cybersecurity and climate action. These discussions will contribute to shaping policies that enhance the region’s competitiveness and resilience in the rapidly evolving ICT landscape. CTU ICT Week 2025 is designed to serve as a critical catalyst, encouraging Caribbean governments to promote the creative potential of the ICT sector. This, in turn, will drive innovation, economic growth and social development across the region.
