The CTU’s International ICT Forecast and Preparatory Meeting will take place on 9th January 2026, the first for 2026 in a series of quarterly preparatory meetings.
The meeting will apprise stakeholders of the upcoming series of regional and international meetings taking place in the 1st quarter of 2026. The Secretariat has invited partner organisations to present a brief on each meeting to demonstrate the importance of Caribbean representation at all major decision-making events for the region. In addition, the Global Industry Watch segment will apprise stakeholders of trending ICT issues that they should be aware of.

![]() Head of Space and Spectrum Affairs, Welchman Keen Dr. Siok Tan Siok spearheads space and spectrum affairs at Welchman Keen, leveraging over 15 years of experience in the telecoms industry encompassing consultancy and research. Prior to her tenure at Welchman Keen, she led market access, international policy development, and advocacy efforts for a non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) satellite constellation in the burgeoning new space sector. Her extensive background includes bringing new and emerging technologies to market successfully through meticulous technical, policy, and regulatory advocacy and development at a global government affairs advisory firm. Siok’s expertise extends to engagements with influential bodies such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and regional entities including the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT) and Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT). She holds a Doctorate in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore. |
